primadonna girl, yeah, all i ever wanted was the world i can't help that i need it all [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: e8e8e8; width: 388px; padding-top: 2px; padding-bottom: 2px;] Terrorizing her brother's was one of Eden Kaelimm's favourite past times. She needed it, it was like her drug, something that kept her going throughout the day. It was like her purpose in life, one of the many reasons why she had been born, the most important ones being; to annoy the crap out of her brothers and make their lives hell and to be the best. Literally the best. Nobody was permitted to beat her and if they dared even try then she would surely act on it as fast as humanely possible. She was not going to be beaten at this game called life, she had to win. And at the moment she pretty much was in her opinion. Well nearly. She was so close to getting what she wanted. But world domination would come later.
For now she was content pestering her brothers and being pretty much perfect in her eyes.
And she was on her way to kill some time by doing just that, annoying the crap out of Nick. He was an easy target, how he allowed himself to be so weak she would never know but it made it all the more easier for her when he was so content with just being preyed upon. Her and Isla, the troublesome duo. They made perfect hell when together, one scheming and one carrying out the dirty deeds. It was worse when they were both together, not to say they were easy when caught alone, it was just they were at their most fearsome together. However Eden wanted to break away from that, she wanted to be able to strike fear into people just by herself, she didn't need her sister in order to do that. She was convinced of it.
She was soon at her brothers dorm and she didn't even bother knocking. She knew he had a room mate but again she didn't care. He was quite hot though and although Nick said they were friends, she didn't quite believe her elder brother when he said he had friends. Nick never had any friends, he was such a looser, who would want to actually spend time with him? Well clearly nobody because his room mate was nowhere to be seen but Eden didn't blame him. She'd spend as much time out of the room as possible if Nick was her room mate too. "Oh big brotherrrr." Eden called in a slightly menacing tone when she entered the room, slamming the door behind her and heading straight for the bedroom area of her brothers dormitory. "Guess which one of your loving sisters is here to see you!"

YOU SAY THAT I'M KINDA DIFFICULT, BUT IT'S ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT

Just like her sister, she took great joy in running riot around her brothers and causing them as much strife as they could rustle up at the time. The best thing was, today seemed like one of those days where it would be especially great. Nick was the weakest of the siblings, and the girls loved exposing that as often as they could. He was always a good target, one of the best they'd found yet, and always a fond favourite. And so it was that Isla and Eden would take advantage of having such an easy target so easily and readily to hand.
No doubt, her sister would beat her to Nick's. Eden probably sent the text at the time that just about gave her enough time to have a head-start, knowing her. The constant rivalry between the twins was something that would just not die down, not even for something as trivial as this. Stepping into one of the lifts that catered for the Videlict dorms, Isla repeatedly pressed the second floor button impatiently. She would have probably gotten up there quicker taking the stairwell, especially seeing as it was only two storeys up, but she didn't do stairs.
Regardless, soon enough Isla was up there, standing outside dorm 207. And from what she could hear, she'd followed Eden by a few seconds to the dorm. She rolled her eyes. Pushing the door open with a shove and then walking in like she had even more right to be there than her brother, she chimed in with her sister's calls: "I'm gonna be so sad if you don't pick me, Nicky..."

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: f9f9f9; border: #3d1a26 solid 10px; width: 450px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]In restless dreams I walk alone creditstemplate by irish! The Kaelimm family was always known for simply taking whatever it was that they wanted. They never ended up walking away without getting their way. Even Kota had faced the wrath of Gia's father and his gun collection to be with Gia. They certainly weren't at the top of the social ladder, but that had never stopped any of them from getting exactly it was that they wanted... any of them, that is, besides Nick. It had always been pretty clear right from the start that Nick wasn't nearly as empowered as his three siblings. Kota was the wonderchild who did everything right, and the twins were manipulative princesses who could come off so sweet one minute and rip someone's head off the next if that would accomplish whatever they had set out to do. Then there was Nick who really wasn't like either of them. He struggled with school, he was decent at sports but really nothing special, and he got too invested in relationships to use people the way Eden and Isla did.
It definitely had never been a secret that Nick wasn't quite like the others, and his siblings had always taken advantage of that. Kota was definitely the "kindest" of the three, particularly as of late. Eden and Isla were relentless. Any opportunity they had to open new wounds or re-open old ones, they took it. At least lately he and Kota had been getting along alright. Even though Nick knew that Dakota didn't talk to Jude about his Gia problems for conflict of interest, he still felt like the fact that Kota came to him about it meant something. It was more interaction than he'd had with his brother in the past two years of being here, and he would take what he could get. Feeling a part of the family was hard when the older brother's phenomenal sports skills and grades were almost always in the limelight, and when it wasn't, the younger sisters were being doted on simply because they were the youngest. Most of the time Nick didn't feel like he belonged there, so when Kota actually started talking to him again, beyond just being there to pester him, he finally felt a bit like a Kaelimm.
Eden and Isla were different. He would have much rather they just stayed away from him, the reason being that he knew that they didn't care and they never would. To them, Nick was just the weakest link in the chain, and the only way to secure their reputation was to be rid of that weak link. He couldn't remember the last time he had seen his sisters when they hadn't ended up ragging on him to the point where he just walked away from it. They'd always made it quite clear that they would be much happier if he wasn't a part of their family. Over the years, Nick had found himself wishing that he wasn't.
When he heard Eden's voice, he cringed inwardly. Right now she was the last thing that he needed. Before he even had a chance to respond, Isla's voice chimed in. This was clearly a coordinated event. One of them was bad, both of them was even worse. The only reason that they would both be there at the same time was because they were bored and wanted to ruin someone's life... not that his life could be much worse than it already was. As if being confined to crutches for the next eight weeks of his life and physical therapy for the next nine months to a year wasn't enough, now he had his sisters here to terrorize and demoralize him even more. Most days, he wasn't even sure that he could survive two more years of this. All he wanted to do was graduate, and get as far away from his family as he could possibly get so he wouldn't have to put up with them anymore. "I don't have any 'loving sisters'" He muttered, not even bothering to look up from the text book he'd been reading as part of an assignment. It wasn't likely that if he just ignored them that they would go away, but one could always hope, right?

Busy, busy, busy. That’s all Dakota had been lately. Mostly to take his mind off the fact that he wasn’t allowed to see Gia. After the big incident with her father he had been cut off. Sure there were a few times where they snuck around, but it wasn’t nearly as much time as Dakota would have wanted with her. He wanted to spend every second with her if he could. He was leaving for Yale soon and he just wanted to be able to get in every moment that he could. But sometimes things didn’t go how you wanted. And this was one of those things. All he could do was keep his mind occupied as he waited for the day that he was allowed to actually hang out with Gia in public again.
Of course some of his mind occupying included hanging out with his brother. After the whole letter situation him and Nick had become closer. He stopped being such a douche older brother and started acting like the older brother that Nick needed. He had been so excited for his younger brother when he had finally made varsity and was more than upset for him when he hurt his knee so that he couldn’t even play one game. Being the captain of the baseball team, Dakota knew that Nick would have been a good asset and so the fact that he was benched until next season really sucked. All in all Dakota was actually trying to be a better brother. Plus if he was there for Nick then it was two against two in the Kaelimm children. Kota had always been able to handle his baby sisters better and if he could just instill some confidence in Nick then he would do just fine in the next two years while Kota was gone to school.
Dakota found himself making his way down the stairs to the second floor to see Nick, which was a more than regular trek now that he couldn’t see Gia and it seemed that Jude and Kat were always being coupley. As he made his way down the hall he heard two shrill voices that he would have been able to pick out of a crowd any day. He groaned and picked up his pace a little hoping he got there before they were too set on attack mode. He reached the door way and leaned in the door jamb looking at his younger siblings. ‘Oh look it’s a little reunion.’ He rolled his eyes and made his way into the room, closing the door with his foot. ‘What do you two spawns of Satan want today?’

Eden always had to have the upper hand and so far, she was doing pretty well, she was the one on top as far as she was concerned. After all, she was the one with the legacy boyfriend and where was Isla on the popularity ladder? Pretty much nowhere. While Eden was getting cosy with the other elites and some of the other legacies who Aaron knew, Isla was struggling to even make a name for herself. And there was no way Eden was helping her sister, Isla might be one of the only people Eden could actually tolerate but that doesn't mean she had to help her out.
Snorting at her sisters comment she walked over Nick and annoyingly put her arms on his shoulders, leaning on him and ruffling the top of his head. She knew it would piss him off, that was the whole idea, the more she could annoy him the better. "Oh Nicky, that's so hurtful." She said, adding a mock tone of hurt to her voice. It was hardly like the twins ever expressed any love to somebody other than themselves, brothers included. However Eden had been having to play the lovey-dovey couple thing with Aaron for a while now, just to keep up their pretence. Sometimes it made her slightly sick to the stomach to do it, but so far she had managed it. Nick wasn't going to get the same treatment though, far from it. "But oh so true."
She giggled as she finally let go of him, shoving his head forward with his hand slightly as she walked away. She went over to the bed and flopped down on it, just as Dakota entered the scene. Eden pulled out her phone, texting Aaron, not even bothering to look up at her eldest brother when he spoke. Instead she just sighed loudly, finishing on her phone before throwing it on the bed beside her. "Well I was just wondering if that Zaine guy was around. Isla still needs a boyfriend." She grinned up at her sister, rolling over onto her side to look back over at Nick. "Have you got any friends yet Nicky? I know its doubtful but there's always hope."

[style=border-right:10px solid #9b8c67; letter-spacing:0px; border-top:10px solid #9b8c67; background-color:#ffffff; padding: 10px; font-family:arial; font-size:11px; text-align:justify; line-height:12px;]You'd have thought that Nick's knee injury at least would have triggered some strange innate human emotion - something like sympathy, I think it's called - buried somewhere deep down in the girls' make-up, putting them off tormenting their older brother... but no. There was no empathy here - in fact, as far as the twins were concerned, it was just another thing to laugh at about Nick. Isla had even given his poor delicate little kneecap a poke a few times, you know, just to see how he'd react. Oh, and if he were faking it, of course. In her eyes, it seemed like just the kind of thing Nick might fake just to get attention, because oh did he miss out on it.
The Kaelimms were a competitive family and always had been, there was no doubt about it. So whenever weak little Nicky, who hadn't inherited the backbone he needed to shoulder past his siblings, came crying to his parents for attention, he would never get it. Because Isla would watch from afar, then find a way to manipulate the situation to suit her needs. Or Eden would saunter over and manifest a tantrum about something right there on the spot. Or Dakota would announce his latest test result... and yeah, you get the gist. It was just how people viewed the Kaelimms: first and foremost, there was Isla; then, there was her inferior, Eden; and finally, Kota, the starlet. But wait - who was that other one? Oh yeah, Nick.
As Eden made her way over to their brother to greet him, Isla walked over to his dorm-mate's desk and hopped onto it, sitting facing Nick. She swung her legs in the spaces under the desks, deliberately letting her feet hit the air ever-so-close to his knee. Isla snickered at her sister's retort and watched as she left Nick alone for a bit in favour of her phone - undoubtedly to text Aaron. Isla sneered just at the thought of that, but before she had a chance to make any comment, Dakota entered the room. Isla turned her head and tilted it, forcing some sweet smile to greet her brother.
When her sister highlighted the touchy subject of boyfriends, Isla's stomach turned with anger. How was it fair that Eden had one and she didn't? She wanted one. As much as Isla wanted to go over and pull on Eden's hair or something, they were past that stage. Nowadays, words were the best choice of weapon, but when Isla didn't have a good comeback, she could always rely on someone to be her punchbag.
Returning her attention to swinging her legs, Isla smirked to herself as she decided to use the distraction of Kota appearing to her advantage - by 'accidentally' hitting her foot on Nick's bad knee as he turned in his chair to greet their brother. With that, Isla hopped back off the desk to sit on Zaine's bed, examining her nails. Ignoring her sister's musing about friends, she spoke herself: "Zaine's hot. Introduce me." Isla tossed the demand to Nick with a flick of her red hair, acting like she hadn't laid a finger on her brother. You know, perhaps there was some subconscious reason why she'd decided to dye her hair red. To show danger? Strength? Power? More like the devil.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: f9f9f9; border: #3d1a26 solid 10px; width: 450px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;]In restless dreams I walk alone creditstemplate by irish! Quite possibly the worst thing about injuring his knee, right after being benched for the rest of the year, and the pain, of course, was not being able to escape. Sure, he had crutches, but you could only do so much on crutches, and only go so fast. He was quite sure that if he tried to get up and walk away from Eden and Isla, they would probably trip him or just follow him and continue making his life miserable. They were like leeches, once they latched on they weren't going to go away until they had sucked all the life out of you... and even then they would probably still stick around and make sure that everyone knew that they were the ones who did it and that you were a pathetic little person who didn't benefit society in any way shape or form. That was just how they had always been.
As much as he was trying to ignore Eden, it was a little hard to do when she rested her weight on his shoulders and messed up his hair. She was such a pest and really knew how to push all of his buttons. He tried not to let her get to him, but she knew him too well, and odds were she wouldn't go away until she had gotten a rise out of him. Were it possible, he would have disowned her and Isla and moved on a long time ago. They were the most aggravating people on the face of the earth, but no one else could see it. They were so manipulative that they wanted everyone to think they were such sweet little angels and Nick and Kota were just making up all those horrible stories that they told. They even had their parents fooled right from the start.
"Zaine alrea..." Nick started to say before he heard Dakota's voice from behind him. It had been a long time since Dakota had been a relief to Nick. A few months ago, Dakota would have just been a third one on the "ruin nick's self esteem" team. They always said he needed to be more confident, that he needed to learn to stick up for himself, but was it any wonder why he didn't? For years it had always been three against one, Nick being the one. With all three of them ragging on him all the time, it shouldn't have been much of a surprise that Nick struggled in the self-esteem department. Now that Dakota had finally decided to be on Nick's side, having him there to intervene when the twins went on attack mode. At least he could actually deal with them without wanting to kill himself like Nick usually did.
He turned to greet his brother, and as he did so, Isla's foot connected with his injured knee, sending shooting pain through his leg. Before he could even react she had relocated herself and was going on about Zaine as if she'd not done anything. "What the hell Isla?" He snarled through gritted teeth. Considering that there were no intact tendons in his knee, the pain pretty much encompassed the entirety of his leg, even though the injury was really only technically to his knee. "Why don't both of you just fuck off?" He questioned irritably. If he were more like Dakota he might have killed her, but he was really not like Dakota at all, and he couldn't exactly move to go after her even if he was, considering he only had one leg he could actually walk on and still had several days yet before the surgery to repair the damage.

Dakota saw Isla kick Nick and all he could do was glare. There was nothing more that Kota wanted to do than drag his sisters out by their hair, but not only would that give more fuel to their fire against Nick, but he knew their parents would hear about it. So instead he made his way closer to Nick, standing on the side of his injured knee to protect it. He glared more at his two younger sisters wishing in that moment that looks could kill. If they could he was pretty sure that Isla and Eden would have exploded in a million pieces in that moment.
'Don't you two have something better to do like oh I don't know feeding on innocent people's babies?' He firmly believed that the twins weren't human at all. They were two little demons that were sent to this world to feed on people's children and happiness. 'Get on your broomsticks and fly off.'

Typical. She should have thought of that one but she could think of something else, something better. Change his pain pills for sugar lookalikes or steal his crutches or something, oh she would definitely think something up, she couldn't let Isla beat her. But it was great though, whatever the two twins did to their brother there was no way he could squeal to their parents because they would either ignore him or not believe him at all even if they did vaguely listen to his complaints.
To their parents, Eden and Isla were angels, incapable of doing any wrong. And Eden would like them to keep thinking that and it seemed no matter what she did, they still thought she was an absolute princess. Mainly because upsetting either Eden or Isla was not the smartest move to make. Eden's tantrums were legendary and she always got what she wanted, she had never failed, some of them took a bit longer than others, depending on what she was after. But she had not failed yet and that was something she was proud of.
Eden just laughed at both of her brothers when they both suggested the two of them leave, like that was going to happen anytime soon. Really, they were going to have to try much harder than that if they wanted to get rid of them. Eden glanced up at Dakota before picking up her phone when it buzzed and texting Aaron back before even bothering to reply to his comment. She took her time, laughing obnoxiously at what Aaron had written, before texting back her equally witty reply. She was doing it mainly to rub it in Isla's face but also to show she had better things to do than to talk to this lot. She had to make it clear that she was the most popular sibling, the top, most important one and she had no shame in flaunting it at all.
"Nah. We've preyed on the young already today, now its time to stalk the weak." She grinned up at Dakota before flicking her gaze back over to Nick. "Isn't that right little Nicola?" Nicola, that emasculating nickname her and Isla had used for him ever since they were little, they hadn't used it in a while and Eden felt it was time to bring it back. He was like their other sister just...the ugly one.
