Stephen pulled up to where Durango was waiting for him. He read what Kaiser was telling him quickly.
Take good care of her
Tell her I'll miss her
He knew what the boy was thinking. Or at least, he hoped he knew. Even so, it was Brownie's choice. He couldn't interfere. Hell, it wasn't his life, so why would he? He was distracted by Dura getting in. She wanted to go anywhere, so long as it was far.
He smiled to her, getting off the chat and putting his phone in his pocket. He started driving. At first he had no idea where they could go, eating sounded like fun, his place too but his sister was still sick so he wouldn't bring someone over. He kept driving, even if he didn't enjoy it, until he noticed the beach. It was getting late but...
He turned to Dura, she didn't seem all there, but then again, a lot of drama had just happened, right? Most probably. He pulled up and parked his car. Getting out he hurried to Dura's door to open it, not sure if he should grab her hand or not he left it opened, inviting her to grab it but not forcing her.
"C'mon, Dura, let's change those thoughts, hm?"
His smile was small and sweet and his question was calm and caring. The girl obviously seemed troubled by something so he'd help her, as he had helped many others.

so there he was, stephen, picking her up from her curb and saving her ass. she just wanted to hug him. no strings attached with affection was the best thing she could ever ask for. when durango got into the car she was a bit fluster, her mind elsewhere, but she was happy to see the tall boy. she pressed her lips against his as she pulled herself into his vehicle. sounds like a plan, sexy. she rolled down the window and let her hair go. she had finally given away her last fuck. time to go off the rails where she belonged.
to be honest, the girl did not care where he was taking her. she did not care about anything at this point. she was with an attractive guy that was smitten about her as well, so she threw one hand out the window and the other wrapped in his. fuck it! she yelled out the window, flipping the world off, as they drove away from the dorms. tonight was going to be fun.

The Tall boy laughed as Dura screamed. It was funny how Kaiser now trusted him with her. The thought hit him as depressing, but he didn't show it. Durango needed someone right now, and even if there were no strings attached, he'd be that someone. He didn't personally need someone in his life, so accepting others in felt like a duty that he had to honour, and he liked it. He liked the whole "taking care of others" thing, it kept him grounded, reminded him that others had problem and they were mostly more important than his. He squeezed Dura's hand lightly, smile still plastered on his face.
Yes, he had expected the beach to have at least a few people on it but it didn't seem like it. Once the car stopped, he turned to her, his smile smaller now. "C'mon, the beach'll be fun," He said as he took his hand out of her's and opened his door. He walked to her's and opened it. Yes, he had always been one to open the door for a girl and help her out, but, barely, knowing Dura, she might not want his help and he was fine with it.
Light caramel orbs looked directly into electric blues. "So? Wanna run around or just sit here?"
