She wasn’t really big on all the mushy romantic stuff anyways and this was her favorite band. Somehow the school must have booked them right when they got back together. How they did she had no idea and honestly she didn’t care. She was just excited that she was going to see them. Sure she liked the other three artists who would be there, but this Fall Out Boy. She didn’t even care that she had to wear a dress to the dumb thing. She did somehow get away with wearing Converse though. She just figured that they didn’t see it.
Jay was practically bouncing in her seat as she waited for the food to be served to them. ‘We should have just gotten pizza and shown up when the concert started.’ Ok ya Jay was really bad at Valentine’s Day. And she really hoped that Bryce wasn’t surprisingly good at it and had had something planned before she went total fan girl mode over Fall Out Boy. Her past Valentine’s Days had involved sitting on roofs and looking at stars or throwing water balloons at people. But this year she had Bryce. And even if she had Bryce all of the couples making goo goo eyes at each other still made her a little nauseous. ‘Promise me we never get all gross ok?’ [/style] [style=font-family:tahoma; font-size:8px; line-height:10px; letter-spacing:3px; color: #2A86B9; text-align:justify;]- - - - - - I KNOW THAT HE'S THE ONLY ONE. you're the only one i could take a shot [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 0b0b0b; width: 399px; padding: 5 5 5 5px; border-bottom: 12px solid #990000; border-top: 12px solid #990000;]on, keep me hanging on so contagiously As soon as he had heard that they had managed to get Fall Out Boy to come play for this Valentine’s Day concert the school was holding, Bryce knew that he was getting dragged along to it, whether he liked it or not. And that they would actually end up staying there, this time, unlike the Sadie Hawkins Dance, where they hadn’t even gotten there before they had changed their minds and went for pizza instead. So she had said that they were going, and he hadn’t complained too much. To be honest he hadn’t even organised for them to do anything for Valentine’s Day, he knew neither of them were big on it so this worked, he guessed. And it was better than a dance, even though he had to don his suit again for the event.
He looked over at her, chuckling a little as he watched her bouncing in her seat. With the way she was now, it was probably a good thing that she had gone for wearing Converse under her dress, unlike the heels she had worn last time, or he would probably end up picking her up from the ground constantly all night. “Yeah, that might have been a better idea. Although I guess the food won’t be that bad… whenever it actually gets here,” he answered.
“I promise. Not in public, anyway.” Not that he really did too much mushy stuff when they were alone anyway, they just went on being their normal selves, with a more intimate twist these days, of course. But he didn’t particularly do the sort of displays of affection that he could see at pretty much every table around them. mae | 282 | whee |

She was glad that he didn’t put up a fight, although she didn’t expect him to. She was just glad he happily came along with her. Although she expected no less. He was really a great boyfriend like that. ‘Stop laughing ok. I’m excited,’ she said not helping but laugh at herself. She knew she probably seemed like a child on their first Christmas where it really meant something, but it was Fall Out Boy. At her school. Right after they came off hiatus. She couldn’t help it. ‘I’m sure it will be here soon. I just want the food so that the concert will start.’ She could care less about the food. She just wanted the concert to start. And she could really care less for anyone after Fall Out Boy, well maybe Maroon Five, but Fall Out Boy was all she needed.
‘Good. Because I think it’s weird.’ It wasn’t that Jay didn’t like romance. No she was all for it. But in the privacy of one of their rooms. Usually Bryce’s though since Jay lived with Aigle. Not that she didn’t love Aigle, but she wasn’t going to put her through that. That was just cruel and unusual punishment. ‘Ugh Bryce make time speed up please.’ She took his hand and shook it trying to make time go faster. She really was being impatient and she was aware, but she couldn’t help it. This was Fall Out Boy! [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;]“I know you are,” he answered, having to chuckle again, although at least this time she was laughing at herself as well. He had known she wasn’t really annoyed by it though, he would have been able to tell easily if it had irritated her, he knew her well enough by now. He was fairly sure he had never seen her this excited about something though… and he had seen her excited before… but he hadn’t been expecting anything less considering who was playing tonight. At least he didn’t mind most of what was being played, otherwise he really would be having a shitty time at this thing, but he was fairly happy with it.
He shook his head and laughed again when she got even more impatient, turning his hand around in hers so that he was holding it, stopping her from shaking his all over the place. “If I could I would, but I can’t so…” he answered, smirking over at her. “They’ll be playing eventually, it’s not like they’ll just disappear into thin air,” he said, half tempted to pull his phone out of the pocket of his suit jacket to see what the time was, in order to see how long until food was meant to be served, but he didn’t have to, spotting waiters bringing out plates to serve.
“See? There’s the food, so not long now.” - - - - - - - - - - and all the roads we have to walk are winding, and all the lights that lead us there are blinding, there are many things that i would like to say to you but i don't know how, because maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me, and after all, you're my wonderwall |

She was just glad Bryce understood. Well she wasn’t exactly sure if he understood, but at least he dealt with her. And she loved that he did. In her opinion that was what a real relationship was about. Embracing the faults of the person you were dating, or in this case their really weird quirks and fangirlieness, and accepted, loved, and cared about them anyways. Jay did adore Bryce for everything he was even though he did frustrate her sometimes. Ok sure she made him quit smoking, but there was zero way she was ever kissing him if he had been smoking. Ok and yes she got him to apply himself at school more, but she had been trying to do that for years because she knew he was smart, he just had to apply himself. Ignoring those two things, Jay wouldn’t change one thing about Bryce. Yes he drank and yes he used to whore around, but she could deal with the drinking and he as long as he wasn’t whoring around anymore she was ok with it. It wasn’t like she wasn’t aware of his past. She had known him for three years after all.
‘What good are you if you can’t speed up the process?’ she asked jokingly. She honestly loved that she could so easily joke with Bryce. It would really be disastrous if they couldn’t. Just because of how Jay was and her personality and her sense of humor. No, she needed this and Bryce gave her just the right dosage. ‘They are pretty magical. They just might Brycey. You never know.’ She moved him with a glare trying her hardest not to let it break. She perked up as Bryce said there was food and she turned to see it, spotting it. She turned back and smiled. ‘Freaking finally.’ [/style] [style=font-family:tahoma; font-size:8px; line-height:10px; letter-spacing:3px; color: #2A86B9; text-align:justify;]- - - - - - I KNOW THAT HE'S THE ONLY ONE. [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;]He raised an eyebrow at her, smirking slightly. “I can think of plenty of other things I’m good for, thanks,” he answered. Maybe he wasn’t good for much, really, but at least he had been trying. He’d given up smoking, he didn’t drink nearly as much as he used to and he’d actually been bothering to pay attention in class. And he had joined sports teams… although he hadn’t realised that he had actually missed playing sport until he had started back up again, so it was the one thing he had been baulking the least over changing. He could still go without school, however, but he had at least been making an effort.
“With the amount of money they probably got paid to play at this thing, I doubt they’re going anywhere before they do,” he said pointedly. It still amazed him how much people at this school seemed to throw money around… sure, his parents made a hell of a lot of money doing what they did since they were so good at their jobs, so he really could probably afford to do the same, but strangely enough, money had never been one of those things that really appealed to him. He had a credit card he barely used, a laptop and a car, and that was fine for him.
Once they had been given their food, he looked over at her again. “And try to remember that no matter how fast you eat all of that, it’s still not going to make the concert start any sooner,” he told her. It really wouldn’t have surprised him that much if she had just choked everything down in her excitement so she could race out to the dance floor before everyone else had barely finished eating to wait for it to start. - - - - - - - - - - and all the roads we have to walk are winding, and all the lights that lead us there are blinding, there are many things that i would like to say to you but i don't know how, because maybe, you're gonna be the one that saves me, and after all, you're my wonderwall |

She could definitely think of a long list of things Bryce was good for. She just had to poke fun at him. She loved the boy though. He put up with her being crazy and weird and nerdy and she was pretty sure there weren’t a lot of people who could do that. It wasn’t like she was a bad person. She just could be a little intense at times and it took a special person to deal with that. And Bryce just happened to be that person. Not only that, but he had been willing to do so much for her. She really appreciated it. Plus she was glad he wasn’t smoking anymore. It was a terrible habit and no amount of body spray ever masked it.
‘They could be like gremlins. Steal the money and then evaporate into thin air.’ She nodded, once again trying hard not to smile. She knew that they would be on soon enough, she just wasn’t patient. They were her favorite band. How could anyone blame her? She knew every song they had ever made by heart. Had seen every music video they had out at least a million times. And she couldn’t even count how many random things of paraphernalia that she had.
She was barely listening to Bryce as she shoveled food in her mouth. She didn’t care what he said. The faster she ate, the faster they would be on stage. The logic made sense to her. It was probably some sort of weird record how fast she cleaned her plate. She looked up at Bryce and then down at his plate and glared. ‘How are you not done yet? We need to get out there so we can be really close.’ Jay fully intended on being close enough to not only touch the people she admired but possibly get pulled up on stage as bands sometimes did to excited fans. It was true though, he really wouldn’t be surprised if she went hunting for them if they didn’t end up getting on the stage. Of course, he had known how much she loved the band even way before they started dating, she had been his best friend for long enough before then that he had definitely known that fact – it was kind of a hard fact to miss.
He had gotten about three quarters of the way through his meal by the time she had finished, looking over at her as she asked him how he wasn’t done yet, shaking his head slightly at her. “It’s not my fault you practically inhaled the whole plate,” he complained, although he knew that he really couldn’t talk, that was how he ate most days… that was how he ate practically all the time so the fact that she had managed to beat him out on this one was impressive. But he quickly finished the rest of his plate before standing up, holding out his hand to her.
“Well come on then, if you’re in such a rush to get out there,” he said, letting her drag him out to wherever she wanted to stand out on the dance floor. yeah, i'm no angel, i'm just me, but i will love you endlessly, wings aren't what you need, you need me, there's a house on the hill with a view of the town and i know how you adore it, so i'll work everyday through the sun, and the rain, until i can afford it, yeah, your friends may think i'm crazy because they can only see i'm not perfect |

Not like they would let her. Maybe if she threw Bruce’s name around they would. Ya that would work. Throw Bruce’s name around. That would get them to hurry up. Sure it wasn’t Carlisle, but the McKaye name could just as easily get doors to open for you like magic.
‘I did not inhale my whole plate! I ate like a normal person ok?’ She pouted at him, bouncing her foot at an alarming pace as she waited for him to finish his food. She took his hand when he stood, smiling, and starting to drag him to the front of the stage. She pressed herself up against the metal barrier that left room for the security guards to stand between the crowd and the stage. She started bouncing once more until they finally got on stage. And that’s when the jumping and screaming started. She wasn’t very aware of her body movements and a small part of her mind that was semi-conscious of what she was doing hoped she didn’t nail Bryce in the face.
