[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;] Chris wasn’t generally the sort of person who moped, or tended to dwell on something for too long, generally he didn’t give a shit whether or not he was talking to someone or how often he saw them, but whenever it was Kirby he was having problems with it was different. She was his best friend, so when it seemed as though she had just ditched him in favour of Sterling Carlisle it felt like someone had parted him with one of his limbs. It wasn’t really even the fact that it was that blonde rhinoceros she was doing it with, just that it was happening in the first place. Even if he and Ster did hate each other, which everyone pretty much knew by now, it didn’t mean she had to just ditch him like that. Fine. Whatever. If she wanted to play it that way then he wouldn’t even bother anymore. But even telling himself that he didn’t care anymore didn’t work. If it had been anyone but Kirby who was doing the exact same thing to him it would have been easy. But no, it was Kirby, and he couldn’t shake it. He frowned at the fries sitting in front of him, leaning back in the chair he was sitting in. He probably shouldn’t be out of the school at this time of night, but it was kind of hard to sit in your dorm when Scott had Siri over, or not knowing when or if he was going to come back and bring her with him, and while usually he would go and crash at Kirby’s whenever that happened obviously she wasn’t talking to him right now so he couldn’t exactly do that. the only option he had now was to either find someone else to hang out with, which wasn’t exactly easy considering he didn’t actually like half the people at the school, or just hang around somewhere by himself until it was late, head back and crawl into bed without waking them up and hoping to avoid seeing anything awkward that might be occurring, or just crash on the small couch that was in the living area of their dorm room so he wouldn’t even have to do that. If worse came to worse, and he and Kirby didn’t start talking properly again, he’d have to move rooms, and to be honest, Scott was the first roommate he’d had since freshman year that he hadn’t hated, so he didn’t exactly want to change that just yet. So right now, he had gone with the second option… sitting around at Macdonald’s, drowning his sorrows in French fries – which he had eaten a lot of so far, but that didn’t bother him, he could probably eat his own bodyweight in them and still be fine – debating whether or not he should get going back to campus soon. Right now, however, he just wanted to stay away from the place. - - - - - - - - - - tell me you noticed, tell me heard, for you i'd have run to the ends of the earth, i couldn't keep you, but i'll keep my word, it's the most beautiful pain in the world, i love how it hurts, i've been trying since you left, trying to fix all the bits that you wrecked, i'm just waiting til it mends, then i'll let you break it again |
