[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;] The weather might have been changing, but things around Easton certainly weren’t, other than the seasons. Or did everything seemingly getting worse count? He had hated Easton, right from the very start, but despite that fact, he had done his best to keep his head down, stay out of trouble, just so he wouldn’t end up back in jail, at least not for now. Unfortunately that also meant he ended up bottling up the anger that usually flowed through him, to the point where he felt like he was going to snap sometimes. That was hard to avoid, and he had been doing well so far. And he had been managing to fly under the radar well, at least until the bastard who was trying to kill the Legacies had tried to kill him off too… that in itself had almost caused him a lot more problems than it had ended up being when he had revealed himself to be alive. So much had happened since he’d come back. The final straw for him had been D’arcy’s accident, they had said it was just that, an accident, but it sure didn’t feel like one. No, he knew that it wasn’t an accident, not after the text message he had received of Ms Information, it was hardly a coincidence. And now all he wanted to do was find the guy and break his neck, not because he had tried to kill him, because he had tried to harm D’arcy. And succeeded, in this case. Even if he hadn’t managed to do it, he was fairly sure he would still be out for blood. He had arrived back at the school, parking his bike in Videlict’s car park, but instead of going straight back to the dormitories when he had, he headed out to the lake instead. He was tense, in the mood to destroy something, and right now he wasn’t sure how long it was going to take him to calm down, so avoiding D’arcy until he was more sure of being able to control himself was important, and probably staying out of the dorm to avoid putting holes in the wall would be a better idea as well. There was nothing to destroy out here by the lake, nothing in sight apart from the vast stretch of water between the two academies, which he stopped beside, holding his motorcycle helmet between his hands as he looked over it, the expression on his face a grim one. All he knew was destruction, how was he meant to function when all he did now was try and avoid doing exactly that? - - - - - - - - - - you’ve gotta pick yourself up by the bootstraps, no one’s gonna help you out when you fall, you’ve gotta find a way out of your problems, when you’re broke and you’re backed up against the wall, if you sleep on your only chances, they’ll never come around again, so dig deep and swing for the fences |
