| [atrb=width,300][cs=1] | [atrb=width,200]tagged: thorton <3 words: no idea outfit: here | [cs=2][atrb=width,500] D'arcy was glad to be gone for the weekend and part of the week really. After the entire thing with Lyss, all she wanted to do was relax at some other place and enjoy her time with Thorton. Sure she had been spending plenty of time with him, but to be honest it never truly felt like she could relax, specially with all the digging around she had been doing lately at night. It amazed her how no one really finished telling her that she shouldn't be out alone at night, well, they have told her that but their rule seemed to merely apply if something terrible had happened in that day; the rest, everyone seemed to just give her some subtle warnings and then let it slip away. Which was perfectly fine with her, for it allowed her to continue her little mission. She had been thinking of letting Hayden know, or perhaps Bruce; to the very least she should tell Thorton to be honest but she was not looking forward to either of them telling her she needs to stop what she is doing, that is dangerous that it will be best if she goes with a guy. She might look like a very frail girl but she is not frail, she is not weak and she sure as hell isn't like Posy or Helena who would surely need more protection.
Nevertheless, that was hardly important at the moment; for she is currently already settled at her parents cabin -which is actually hers- and ready to spend a lovely weekend with Jasper. She stretched her arms and then sigh, looking around the cabin; still loving the fact that the some of the walls were pure glass. Ever since she was little she had been in love with the fact that you could just sit inside and be able to see the woods. Being able to spend time here once more felt like taking a step into the past. Surely this would be better, for she will have someone to spend time with instead of being left on her own to explore. It is just the way things work in her family, but quite honestly she is not even sure where they are at the moment; they were probably on separate places of the world, not really talking to each other. A small sigh escaped her lips, trying her best not to allow the memories to rush to her mind, because they would end up ruining her weekend. A small trace of a deep thought still in her eyes but it quickly faded.
"You have been rock climbing before, right?" she asked Jasper as she looked at him, walking down the natural path so they could reach her usual climbing spot; her hand holding his, head resting against his arm. "Or am I going to have to teach you how to do it?" she added with a smile; either way will work for her, and besides, she doubts that he won't be able to keep up with her if he hasn't. While most people would just decide to head over to the concert for Valentines day, or to go do some cute, cheesy thing, she was not up for something like that. There is nothing wrong with cheesy, but to be honest, it is not her cup of tea and she guesses Jasper probably feels the same way. Don't get her wrong, D'arc can be a total girl on many aspects, she loves clothes and shopping, she loves having a big closet, flowers and jewelry; shoes too, but that is probably where she draws the line. The weather was nice here, luckily enough it was warmer, and the sun as shinning high without any clouds or wind. Perfect for what they were going to do. |

One chance with life is all you get [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 0b0b0b; width: 399px; padding: 5 5 5 5px; border-bottom: 12px solid #355e65; border-top: 12px solid #355e65;]So pick your sides and place your bets Getting out of Easton felt good.
He hated the town, that was for sure. He had hated it since he had first started going to school there. Even more so as the year dragged on, the only good thing that had come of it was D’arcy, and the fact that it was keeping him out of enough trouble to keep him out of jail, but then… well, he didn’t really have to explain much more. He’d been pushed off a cliff by some guy who seemed intent on killing his girlfriend, and the rest of the Legacies who went to the school. So it was good to get away for a while, to somewhere where they didn’t have to think about it all. It was good to go somewhere where he didn’t get anxious every time D’arcy decided to go off on her own… which he’d rather her not do but it wasn’t like she gave him any warning when she did.
So when D’arcy had said she wanted to go to her cabin on Valentine’s Day, and for the following weekend, and to go rock climbing while they were there, he had seen no problems with the idea. It definitely seemed preferable to him than going to the concert the school was holding, although if she had really wanted to go to that he would have gone with her. But no, this was definitely more his speed… still a lot different to what he used to get up to before he came to Easton, but he wasn’t complaining about that too much, if at all anymore. He had bigger things to worry about. Even when he tried to stay out of the drama it followed him, apparently. Well, he had been expecting it after he reappeared when he had been declared deceased, but he had been able to ignore all of that. At least until that stupid gossip blog had suggested he was the one knocking them all off, that one had been hard to ignore.
He looked down at her as she spoke, a tiny smile catching at the corners of his mouth. “Yeah, I have been rock climbing before,” he replied, turning his attention back to the trail ahead of them after he had finished speaking. It had been one of the less… extreme… activities he had gotten up to in the past, it was probably one of the safest things he had ever ended up doing, actually. And maybe most people who had been pushed off a cliff wouldn’t exactly want to go near one again for a while, but that thought didn’t cross his mind. It wasn’t like he was afraid of much, if anything at all. “I’m sure I’ll be fine.” mel | 457 | outfit | whee |

| [atrb=width,300][cs=1] | [atrb=width,200]tagged: thorton <3 words: no idea outfit: here | [cs=2][atrb=width,500] D'arcy likes this, she likes being outdoors and just be able to let go of all the crazy shit that has been happening all around easton. A small sigh escaped her lips and she couldn't help but wonder what others were doing at the moment. She, assumed that most people were actually focusing on heading over to the concert that the school was being held. It was such a typical thing to do that D'arcy didn't even thought about heading over and spending the time there. Concert and diner. That is just not the type of deal for this woman, she is not really a typical person, and if she is, she sure doesn't feel like it. Staying in a room with many others, just having the same food, listening to the same people and doing the same. It wasn't really something she likes, so this idea that she got of coming here to the forest and do some rock climbing had been the best she had gotten. Yes, she is definitely pleased with this moment, and she knows that spending it with Thorton was only going to make it better. She has never been one to understand why people need to make such a huge production about Valentines day; its really just a normal day in her mind. If you want to give someone a special night or a great gift, then it would be even more special if you do it at any other day. For example, she would rather getting one on September 18 or whatever. However she knows that most people don't think that way, which makes her wonder why others do like it. Oh well, she is probably never going to understand so why bother.
"Well if you think you will be fine then alright" she mentioned with a smile on her lips as they reached her spot. She smiled brightly while looking around, loving the fact that they were finally going to be able to do this, or rather, her. It had been a long time since she last do this, and what better way to do it that with her. A nod happened and she let go of his hand. "What do you say? do you want to go first and secure the rope? or should I do that?" she asked him "There are some hooks already placed on the rocks so it should be easier for you to do it" she mentioned. Like stated before, she has been here several times before and she knows very well that some hooks had been left there because she tends to do this on her own, and leaving them there caused things to be simpler. Part of her was also wishing to do it without the ropes, because that would make things more exciting yet they had already had enough stressful experiences and this should be for them to have fun. Her eyes moved to look around the place, stretching her arms a little above her head while she stepped away from him. Her shirt was already see through, or at least one of them which already caused a draft to spread over her body, plus the shorts she was wearing, maybe she shouldn't be stretching and causing her shirt to ride up. Then again, that was going to keep happening as she will be stretching over while climbing. Oh well, at least it wasn't particularly cold at the moment.
"Or, we could both start and see who gets there first" she added with a smirk while turning to look at him. Now, she has no real clue how good at this he actually is, but she has been doing this since she was little, so she is confident that she could beat him, and if not, then she will be very close to doing so. A little competition never hurt anyone, and she knows that this isn't one where either would end up upset for losing. God knows she is not a sour loser, and she doubts he is one. A small smile came to her lips, waiting patiently for him to respond to her. |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;]The only problem with getting away is that they had to go back to it eventually, and then it would be back to dealing with all of the shit that was going on, plus with him having to go back to tolerating a life he hated, really. At least some people had become more bearable… honestly the first time he had ever spoken to Hayden Carlisle he’d hated the other male, he reminded him too much of people he had dealt with via his parents, and he’d wanted nothing to do with him. But after he had come back from the dead, so to speak, he’d known, after he had had some time while he was away to piece a few things together, he’d known that he was probably one of the only people who would be able to help with it, and he’d been right. And thankfully, he and his friends seemed to have grown up a bit in that time, which prevented him from having problems anger and patience wise so far. To the point where he had told them about his past, although that had mostly been to alleviate the thought they had seemed to be having that he couldn’t handle certain things, like when Chase had gone off the night the Collins girl had gone missing.
“I definitely will,” he answered. No, he wouldn’t have any trouble doing this at all… even if he hadn’t done any rock climbing before, he was fit enough to be able to handle himself during it anyway, at least. It had been a while since he had been, that was for sure, but then again before Easton he had been in jail and, well, neither of those things had really left much time in his schedule for many recreational activities. They seemed to reach their destination after a short while, letting go of her hand as she let go of his, listening to her talking. “Well, since you’ve been here before, I’ll let you go first,” he answered, watching her as she stepped away from him, trying to figure out how exactly he had ended up with someone like her. It wasn’t a bad thing, of course, he just hadn’t thought he would end up with someone from the world he hated so much… and that he wanted to be with her this much.
“Or we could do that,” he replied, a slight smirk crossing his face. It would probably be fair enough, after all… physically he was probably more capable but she had been climbing here a lot before so she knew exactly where to climb. - - - - - - - - - - you’ve gotta pick yourself up by the bootstraps, no one’s gonna help you out when you fall, you’ve gotta find a way out of your problems, when you’re broke and you’re backed up against the wall, if you sleep on your only chances, they’ll never come around again, so dig deep and swing for the fences |

| [atrb=width,300][cs=1] | [atrb=width,200]tagged: thorton <3 words: no idea outfit: here | [cs=2][atrb=width,500] D'arcy had picked up rock climing when she was very little, sure she is a very girly girl in many aspects, such as clothes for example; when it comes to clothes she is very interested in what the fashion will show, although in some manner she likes to think she can also present some fashion to the people of Easton. It's never good to follow the mass completely so she shows the fashion sense with a little twist of her own taste. It had happened when she was around 6 or 7 that she began to fall for all those type's of sports. There was just something about the adrenaline that caused her to feel rather alive an with no real parents to bother her since they were always doing something else, she has found it nice to just find something to work her energy and that had been the best idea. Sure her nanny's had not been really pleased with it but, by the end of the day, she was the one who dictated the rules so there was nothing they could do about it. It had always been nice to know that she could convince them to let her do things, but then again since her parents were always gone, and she was always careful even with what she did, it was rather nice. It was always amazing how people gets surprised when she acts the way she does; she might look like a very girly girl, like a typical rich brat but quite honestly she is not that. Well, she might be a brat on some level but she is definitely not just that. Her personality doesn't fit what the rest of the populations assume, and when they get to know her, some seem rather surprised. D'arcy can take a lot, both physically and emotionally; and she doesn't really stands people being jerks to her, because she can easily dish it back; which she assumes some people don't realize she can because they insist on trying to be that way to her and then they can't handle it. Sugar coating wasn't her thing; sarcasm and irony, black humor, now that is her way of living.
"Let's just go together then" D'arcy said with a smile while she began to grab what she needs and get the harness on. "Then when we are done we can do something you like" she added while she moved slowly back to where he was. She wouldn't mind doing something he wants to do because to be honest she knows that her taste is rather close to his on some level; very different in others but even so. Once she had everything ready she turned to look at him. Dear lord how on earth could he look so hot just standing there? She kept her eyes on him, and she won't deny she was just admiring the view, and by view she means that she is looking at him and literally nothing else. Why wouldn't someone want to look at him? Seriously? Sure that isn't the reason she is with him but she would be lying if she was to say that she hadn't always thought he was handsome, even before being with him. The personality was what win her over, and the fact that even when he cares for her, he also understands that sometimes she needs to do things on her own; her space; just like she grants him his space. If he is every to just want to be alone doing whatever he wants, all he has to do is text her, call her or say something in person and she will find plans with a friend and he can go do what he wants. All she asks in return is a text when he gets home to know he is safe. That's pretty much it.
D'arcy moved close to him and just randomly kissed him; yes she felt the need to do so and yes she was going to do it. Seriously there is no real way for any of them to complain about this. Right? She wondered if he would complain although come on, she is a good kisses so why would he? Her hand had moved to the back of his neck to pull him down a little while she stepped on the tip of her toes. By now she loves that, she loves the fact that he is that tall; not to say that she is small but even so it just made it a hundred times better that she could just stand in front of him, with his arms around her and it just feels like he could surround her entirely. No joke, she probably looks tiny next to him. She continued to kiss him, suddenly feeling like that was a better idea than to climb a big rock. Just as her mind was getting to that state she pulled back and smirked, her lips close to his "Ok, now we can go so I can beat you" she smiled, pecking his lips before pulling back and going to start climbing. That had been fun, that had been really, really fun. |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: 101010; border: #262626 solid 10px; width: 515px; padding: 5 5 5 5px;]“Alright… not that I don’t like rock climbing anyway,” he answered. He liked rock climbing, he had already mentioned that to her, so it wasn’t like he was being forced into doing anything he didn’t particularly want to do… it was definitely better than the time she got him to pose for her photos, while he didn’t mind going with her when she took them, being the actual subject of the shots wasn’t exactly his thing, and if he didn’t think that she would just do it while she thought he wasn’t paying attention anyway he’d probably more adamantly disagree to it. So, yes, he definitely didn’t mind doing this right now, it certainly felt more natural to him.
He finished getting ready to get started, harness properly secured, turning once he had finished to look at her, catching her staring at him and raising his eyebrows slightly, watching as she closed the distance between them to kiss him, settling his hands on her waist as she did so, pulling her just that little bit closer to him. Sometimes it still felt a little surreal, all of this… he wasn’t sure how he had ended up with someone like her in the first place, not someone with his track record and his past, it generally wasn’t a good mix with people from her world, people from his parents’ world that they had tried so hard to push him into but he had simply refused to let himself get sucked in and become like the spoiled brats he had encountered too many times. And besides, if they had wanted him to actually want to be their son, maybe they should have actually acted like parents in the first place, not just palming him off to a plethora of nannies over his childhood and expect him to turn out perfect and well rounded. No, that wasn’t any way to raise a child properly, and he certainly hadn’t turned out how they had wanted him to.
He smirked a little, nodding when she pulled back. “Let’s get going then,” he answered, kissing her back quickly again when she kissed him for the second time, before following her over to the face of the rocks they were about to start climbing. It felt good to be doing something like this again, once he had started the ascent, the slight exhilarating feeling of it, despite the fact that they were secured by ropes so falling wouldn’t be lethal – although to be fair, he had climbed without before and had managed to survive that – and it really didn’t take him awfully long to power to the top, he was by no means weak when it came to muscle strength and once he had hit the top he barely even felt like he had been doing much at all.
Once he had reached the top, he stopped, unclipping himself once he was sure that he wasn’t about to go falling off the side of the cliff, sitting at the top as he waited for her to get up there as well, although he was sure that she wasn’t too far behind him.

| [atrb=width,300][cs=1] | [atrb=width,200]tagged: thorton <3 words: no idea outfit: here | [cs=2][atrb=width,500] There were times when D'arcy wondered how she ended up the way she did. Then she remembers her parents and realizes that is how she did it. Being the daughter of the Everett's wasn't a bad thing, not even a little bit, but it was a good way for you to become a rather independent person. It was the lack of them in her life that pushed her to do things on her own, it was the disappointment in their broken promises that got her not to learn who should earn her trust and who needs to just turn and leave. But more important than not, it was the tedious balls she had to go to as a child that made her love the days when she could just head out to ride her horses or go climbing. Balls weren't the worse, it was the mingling with boring people that got to those things. She is a fashion lover, she likes expensive things, and she might be a little bit spoiled but she is not that bad. In fact, she is pretty darn grounded if you consider how everyone else in her circle are. This wasn't even the time to think about it though, she could easily stay like this and be happy; besides, some of her nanny's specially the second one, had been perfectly nice. Her head shook and she smiled as she stepped away from Thorton. It was nice to spend time with him away from the world, it was nice to spend time away from the world in general.
Maybe another time they could be able to head over someplace else and do another thing. Part of her had been really looking forward to scuba diving; it just seemed interesting to her but she would have to ask if he wants to join her; if not then she will do it on her own, is not like they need to do everything together. In fact, she is pretty sure that something they both need is alone time, because being with someone 24/7 can sometimes be what makes one or both get sick of being with each other. Granted she doesn't see herself ever growing tired of Thorton, he is interesting enough to keep her wanting to be with him; but even so, time for themselves is good; which is why she has riding. Whens he rides, is usually on her own or with the team, and even so it's mostly just her and her horse. A smile came to her lips as she finishes securing the harness. Maybe once this was over, and by this she is talking about the trip they were having, she will be able to head back to riding. God she misses that activity. But more than that, she misses being back at London, the lovely views that one could find there, well, not London per say but near by. Maybe during the summer she will be able to go, or even spring break. Who knows. Either one will do, for sure.
Half way to the top she got a little lost in the moment and forgot they were actually racing, not an actual race but she forgot and merely stopped, glancing around. If there was something she likes is the view, damn it, she wishes she had a camera because the moment was just perfect for her to snap a picture. Oh well, her cell phone will have to do. Letting go of the wall she fished her phone from the pocket of her jeans, turned her upper body a little and positioned the cell phone in the best position possible and snapped a picture. It would have been better if she had gotten an actual good camera though, but, she has to deal with what she has. Finally she saved her phone back in the pocket and finished all the way to the top, settling down next to Thorton, legs dangling over the edge. "I could do this all day, everyday" she whispered, brushing her hands across her hair. D'arcy moved even closer to the edge, looking down with a smile on her lips. "Hey, do you have any idea what you are doing once we graduate?" where that came from she has no idea, but it just rushed to her mind, eyes fixed in the distance before glancing over at him. Personally she would be perfectly fine with just heading to New York and work on her career as a photographer. Sure her grandmother wants her to take the magazine business and D'arcy would love to do that, but honestly, she is looking more into working as a photographer now and then work on the magazine. But her future wasn't exactly written just yet. |

He had grown up in a privileged life financial wise, although on the parental side of that it hadn’t been so nurturing, and he had always known that he didn’t have anything to complain about besides that, and even then he hadn’t really complained… but he’d never had the sort of personality that suited being a show pony for anyone, basically, which was the main problem he had had with everything. He had come to the conclusion a long time ago that he couldn’t just sit around and look pretty for people, he had to actually be doing something. And it had been something he had been thinking even more about lately, after everything that had gone on.
He looked over as D’arcy finally emerged from over the edge of the edge of the rocks they had just climbed, ready to lend her a hand if she needed it, but she got over with no trouble, as he had expected that she would. He barely even bat an eyelash as she moved closer to the edge again to look over it once she had sat down, he doubted she would get far enough to the edge that she would go plunging over the side, and besides, he was sitting close enough to her and his reflexes were fast enough that he was fairly sure that he would be able to grab hold of her if she did. He had never been one to worry too much as it was either, only about the really necessary things… with his past, if he was a worrier it wouldn’t have worked out so well. And the only thing he had that worried him somewhat these days was the guy who tried to kill him, and probably wanted D’arcy dead too.
He had been looking back over the view again, turning to look back over at his girlfriend as she asked him about what he was doing after they had graduated – if he even graduated at this point, he’d missed out on school when he had been in jail before he had arrived in Easton, and even more when he’d ‘died’ for that period of time not long ago, not that it particularly worried him whether he did or not anyway – turning his head back to look back at their view again as he mulled over her question. It wasn’t like he had many options, anyway, considering his past, and he wasn’t exactly interested in any of his parent’s business dealings, even if he was supposed to inherit everything when they retired or passed away.
“I haven’t thought about it too much yet…” he started, glancing back over at her again. “But I’ve been thinking about joining the army. Nothing set in stone yet though.” Hopefully that wouldn’t elicit too much of a bad reaction from her, even if he hadn’t exactly mentioned that thought to her yet. It was a big decision, he knew that, but so far, it was the only thing that made sense to him that he had come up with, and he had the feeling that it was the sort of thing he needed right now. He shrugged slightly, reaching up a hand to run through his hair. “I don’t know. It’s one of the only things I’ve considered that feels right. I need to do something, I can’t just sit around doing nothing, and college definitely isn’t the way for me to go.” either move or we will all be destroyed back up and let go if you've never been here, you've never been to the place inside, i face my fears, it takes everything i am, i come crashing to the floor and i know there must be more like me, i've seen this all before, i can't carry this anymore, break free, breath & leave until the storm is over |

| [atrb=width,300][cs=1] | [atrb=width,200]tagged: thorton <3 words: no idea outfit: here | [cs=2][atrb=width,500] D'arcy had not been thinking so much about the entire thing of graduating and heading over to college; she knows that maybe at some point she will have to study for something, if she is to keep the magazine that her grandmother will surely give to her once she is ready to retire. the girl however, is really not in the mood to make something like that happen at the time being, she wants to merely start working on her career as a photographer and make sure to built a name for herself with her work. Her eyes were looking ahead, smiling ever so slightly while she admires the view. It is rather nice in her mind, nothing bad about spending some time to just relax and see the world. Usually she was caught up with school, with everything that is happening during school, she just missed having a few seconds to remind herself that she could just sit back and enjoy a nice view.
D'arcy looked at him with a smile, slowly turning to him when he began to speak. Truth be told she wasn't that surprised by the answer. She doesn't really see Thorton as the type who will be sending out college applications left and right ready to built up a career in any type of field really. She knows he loves motorcycles, and she always pictured him as doing something dealing with mechanics, even cars she assumed but the act that he hadn't really thought about it much made her think maybe she has been going to far away and that perhaps he doesn't like it as much as she thought. In her mind it was fine not wanting to go to college, if you have something you really like, if you know you are good at it, if you have passion for it and there is no need to go to college to try and achieve it then there is no need for you to lose time in something else when your dream is waiting for you to start making it a reality. And yes, that is how D'arcy Gale Everett things, somewhere deep inside of her that is.
The following surprised her though. The army. She blinked a few times, trying to actually assimilate what he had said. "I wasn't expecting you to say that" she wasn't about to lie to him, but if it's what he wants to do she has no saying in it. "Being quite honest I always thought you wanted to do something related to cars, or bikes, given how much you like it" she shrugged her shoulders. "But the army..." she paused, not truly sure what she feels about it; it's not a bad thing, she would never consider it as a bad thing, she just assumed it had taken her by surprise. "That's pretty cool if you really want to do that" she said in the end. She wasn't going to go crazy, she wasn't going to tell him he was throwing his life down the drain; but she did hoped that there would be no war because it would seriously keep her on the edge and not in a good way. "I don't see you in college either though, I don't see myself in college either to be honest" she said after a few seconds, it would just be a waste of her time. She glanced around, smiling a little bit; at least she is sure that he would look rather hot in an army uniform.

She didn’t exactly look thrilled about the idea either, but he hadn’t expected her to be happy about it either, he knew it wasn’t exactly a career path that tended to make people happy unless it was your parents who wanted you to go down that sort of path, or unless it was you who was.
“I know,” he answered simply, when she said that she hadn’t been expecting him to tell her that, listening in silence as she continued talking. Maybe that would have been something he would do before, but considering everything that he had been through and that had gone on with his life so far, he knew he needed more than that. It was probably something that would be difficult to explain, but that was just how he felt.
He nodded, shifting slightly where he sat, looking out over the cliff again as he started to speak. “And I might have been happy doing that once but… a lot’s changed for me and I don’t think I can just sit around and do that anymore,” he said, figuring that would be one of the better ways to explain it. He didn’t want to sit around, and possibly fall into old habits. He’d grown out of that but he knew it wasn’t exactly something that was hard to slip back into. And he had never just been the sort of person who could sit around doing something idle, or like a show pony, in his parent’s case.
“What did you want to do then?” either move or we will all be destroyed back up and let go if you've never been here, you've never been to the place inside, i face my fears, it takes everything i am, i come crashing to the floor and i know there must be more like me, i've seen this all before, i can't carry this anymore, break free, breath & leave until the storm is over |

| [atrb=width,300][cs=1] | [atrb=width,200]tagged: thorton <3 words: no idea outfit: here | [cs=2][atrb=width,500] It wasn't difficult to understand his point of view when it comes to being still, to not doing anything at all and just sit there; however, the army? It puzzled her a little but she wasn't going to tell him that, usually she wouldn't have a hard time letting someone know how she feels about something but the problem this time around is that she isn't quite certain of how she feels about it. Maybe once she gets to sort out her own feelings she will be able to tell him how she feels about this, or what she thinks. Maybe she was being selfish because all she could think about was the fact that maybe she wouldn't be able to see him as much as she would have, but being honest, with the job path she had been thinking of pursuing she wasn't going to be able to see him much either way. Her mind was having trouble to adapting to this and so she merely focused on the view, it was much better than trying to decipher what was happening inside her mind. The view was soothing though, calm and nice, nothing to worry about while observing it.
His question forced her to get out of her daze and turn to glance at him. "Get more involved with photography" she started, would he think that was just sitting around doing nothing? His idea seemed so extreme, like he will actually be making some form of difference in this word, would he consider photography to just be something silly and not important. Her eyes remained locked on him, actually wanting to see his reaction to her words rather than wondering what they have been. "I have always aimed to National Geographic, although I technically have a spot guaranteed if I go into fashion photography" she added, thinking back about her grandmother and the magazine at New York. Sure she has thought of heading to New York and start there, then work her way over to what she wants to do; actually get to the magazine she desires, but now she has no clue if she should go for it or not.
"Not sure anymore though, it used to be so clear... now... it's all mixed together" D'arcy wished there was a simpler way realize what she should do with her life. For a moment she also wondered if she should take into consideration what he is going to do as well. Would it matter? After all they were a couple, and he was thinking of joining the army but where exactly was he gong to enlist? She shouldn't get ahead of herself, she should just figure out her own troubles first and then work on everything else happening around her. |

And, well, she was one of the few people in the world he’d actually bothered to get to know properly, and when he decided to do that, he generally tended to pick up nearly everything about them, especially in D’arcy’s case.
“That sounds very… you,” he answered, turning his head to look at her and give her a small smile. That was really the best way he could find to explain it, and obviously only meant it in a positive way. She needed to go and be herself, and he needed to go and be him. He knew what happened when he didn’t have enough there to discipline himself into not walking back down the path he had been on before he had come to Easton, and he needed to make sure he didn’t start that again. Sure, he had changed a lot since then, with everything that had happened as well, and maybe that was part of the reason why he’d felt the need to change his plans for the future, or at least some of the directions the rest of his life was taking.
He looked back over at her again when she said everything was mixed up and she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do anymore though. “You should just go do what you want… whatever one makes you happiest,” he said. It was as simple as that in his mind, you had to go and do what you felt was best for you. He was doing exactly that, that was certain. How it would end up effecting things, he didn’t know, but after having to have faith for so long that things would end up working out, he just had to stick with that belief. He’d never been one to worry too much as it was anyway, and whatever happened in the end, was supposed to happen. either move or we will all be destroyed back up and let go if you've never been here, you've never been to the place inside, i face my fears, it takes everything i am, i come crashing to the floor and i know there must be more like me, i've seen this all before, i can't carry this anymore, break free, breath & leave until the storm is over |
